The 5th Global Campus Artificial Intelligence Algorithm Elite Competition

Time:

The Global Campus Artificial Intelligence Algorithm Elite Competition has been held for four consecutive sessions since 2019, attracting contestants from 26 countries and regions around the world, as well as over 900 universities. With a total of 10152 participating teams, it has received widespread attention from global campus artificial intelligence algorithm enthusiasts and the industry. In March 2023, the competition was included for the first time in the national ranking of subject competitions in ordinary higher education institutions released by the Chinese Association of Higher Education, officially becoming a national subject competition.

In order to promote talent cultivation under the "Artificial Intelligence+X" knowledge system, adhere to the principle of "promoting learning through competitions, teaching through competitions, and innovation through competitions", accelerate the cultivation of innovative talents in artificial intelligence algorithms, stimulate students' awareness of artificial intelligence innovation and enthusiasm for participating in innovative application practices, and promote high-quality entrepreneurship and employment of university students, the organizing committee of the competition has decided to continue holding the fifth "Global Campus Artificial Intelligence Algorithm Elite Competition".

CCF Big Data & Computing Intelligence Contest

The CCF Big Data&Computing Intelligence Competition (CCF BDCI) was founded by the Chinese Computer Society in 2013 and is a large-scale challenge competition for algorithms, applications, and systems in the field of big data and artificial intelligence. The competition is aimed at collecting demand from key industries and application fields, guided by cutting-edge technology and industry application issues, with the goal of promoting industry development and upgrading. Through a crowdsourcing and crowdsourcing approach, it gathers the wisdom of various industries, universities, and research at home and abroad, and has discovered and cultivated a large number of high-quality data talents for society.

The competition has been successfully held for ten times, attracting over 180000 participants from 25 countries, over 1500 universities, over 1800 enterprises and institutions, and over 80 research institutions worldwide. It has become one of the most influential, large-scale, and mature comprehensive competitions in the field of big data and artificial intelligence in China.

In 2023, we will welcome the 11th CCF BDCI, which has been striving for innovation for over a decade, continuously exploring new advantages in data value, and building a positive data ecosystem atmosphere. CCF BDCI will further expand its influence, focus on the development of digital economy technology and talent cultivation, and help promote the development of big data technology and industrial ecology in China.

第七届全国大学生集成电路创新创业大赛是由教育部、中国电子学会主办的全国性比赛。该比赛旨在推动高校集成电路教育改革和创新创业教育,培养高素质的电子信息人才,推动中国集成电路产业的发展。

近几年,边缘计算的重要性日益凸显,作为AI产业的重要基础设施,边缘计算在边缘侧可以提供低时延、高性价比的智能化服务,在众多垂直行业得到了广泛的应用。

边缘计算使计算和数据存储更靠近收集数据的设备,能实现数据高频交互、实时传输,很好地解决了边缘应用的性能问题。

算能以自研AI专用芯片TPU(Tensor Processing Unit, 张量处理器)为核心打造了覆盖“云、边、端”全场景的算力产品矩阵,为城市大脑、智算中心、智慧安防、智慧交通、安全生产、工业质检、智能终端等应用提供算力产品及整体解决方案。TPU与同期的CPU和GPU相比,可以提供15-30倍的性能提升,在边缘场景中优势明显。

算能杯主要考察参赛选手利用算能TPU平台实现AI创新应用的能力,重点场景为:机器视觉以及机器视觉在机器人、无人机等场景中的检测和识别等。

要求选手基于TPU实现新应用和新算法,可以围绕下列领域(包含但不限于)展开:安全生产、通用园区、智慧食品安全、智慧城管、智慧电力、公共安全、智慧交通、智慧煤矿、机器人、无人机、机器视觉等,参赛选手需要自行搭建整套边缘计算系统,并实现相应功能。
