RISC-V Software Porting and Optimization Championship

Time:

RISC-V has already seen billions of shipments in areas like MCU/IoT and is now challenging the high-performance computing fields of desktop computing, deep learning data centers, and more. In comparison to the software ecosystem in embedded systems and IoT, the software ecosystem for desktop and server domains is rich, requiring significant efforts for porting and optimization.

 

To expedite the advancement of the RISC-V software ecosystem, as a leading entity in the RISC-V ecosystem, SOPHGO, in collaboration with the RISC-V China community and the PLCT Laboratory of the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has launched the "RISC-V Software Porting and Optimization Championship." This initiative emphasizes the desktop and server software ecosystem, openly presenting a series of competition challenges in various areas such as compilers, runtime environments, deep learning software stacks, and more. Developers worldwide are invited to tackle these challenges and compete for cash prizes.

CCF Big Data & Computing Intelligence Contest

The CCF Big Data&Computing Intelligence Competition (CCF BDCI) was founded by the Chinese Computer Society in 2013 and is a large-scale challenge competition for algorithms, applications, and systems in the field of big data and artificial intelligence. The competition is aimed at collecting demand from key industries and application fields, guided by cutting-edge technology and industry application issues, with the goal of promoting industry development and upgrading. Through a crowdsourcing and crowdsourcing approach, it gathers the wisdom of various industries, universities, and research at home and abroad, and has discovered and cultivated a large number of high-quality data talents for society.

The China Graduate Electronic Design Competition, guided by the Department of Degree Management and Graduate Education of the Ministry of Education, jointly organized by the China Association for Science and Technology Youth Science and Technology Center and the China Electronics Society, is one of the thematic events under the 'China Graduate Innovation Practice Series Contest.' It is a team-based electronic design innovation and creative practice activity for graduate students nationwide, actively participated in by universities and research institutes across the country. This competition, known as the 'Research Electronic Competition,' is oriented toward industry demands and has become a mainstream event that fosters innovation and entrepreneurship consciousness among graduate students in electronic-related disciplines, enhances teamwork, boosts practical abilities, and promotes the comprehensive growth of young innovative entrepreneurs.

 

The competition is characterized by its high standard, deep participation, high comprehensive quality requirements, and close integration with the industry. AlgoTech has joined through the corporate-themed category and established special awards, focusing on the design of edge computing systems based on TPU processors. AlgoTech also provides participating contestants with powerful development boards, drones, deep learning cars, and other hardware resources.

CAAI-BDSC 2023 Social Computing Innovation Competition

The Social Computing Innovation Competition is jointly organized by the China Artificial Intelligence Association (CAAI) and the Big Data Development and Management Bureau of Zhejiang Province.
